Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation day and time will not be eligible for a refund of any amount. All other cancellations will receive a full-refund.

Drop-off is located at the Angels Creek Boat Launch in the Glory Hole Recreation Area of New Melones Lake. After booking your rental, you'll receive an email confirmation with directions to the boat launch and pictures. You can also enter Angels Creek Boat Launch in Google Maps and it will take you right to the boat launch.

New Melones Lake is located on Highway 49, approximately 8 miles (13 km) north of Sonora and 6 miles (9 km) south of Angels Camp, California. 

We offer Half-Day Rentals (up to 4 hours) & Full-Day Rentals (up to 8 hours). You are not required to use the entire time allotted. If you get done early, just call or text us and we'll be there within 15-25 minutes to pick up the kayaks. We do not offer refunds if you do not use the entire time allotted. 

Just call or text us if you finish early. We'll be there within 15-25 minutes to pick up the kayaks. Otherwise we'll be there at the end of your booked time.

For example, if you booked a Half-Day Rental starting at 9am, we'll be back at 1pm to pick up the kayaks unless we hear from you sooner. If you book a Full-Day Rental, then pickup time is at 5pm unless you call or text us sooner.

Please DO NOT leave the kayaks unattended.

Single Kayaks have a weight limit of 300 lbs and
Tandem Kayaks have a weight limit of 500 lbs.

You must be 18 years of age or older to rent a kayak. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver.

The minimum age for participants is 4 years old and the participant must weigh over 30 lbs.

Minors 13 and under MUST be accompanied on the water by a parent/guardian 18 years of age or older. This can be on single or tandem kayaks.

ALL minors must be watched at all times by a parent/guardian 18 years of age or older. The parent/guardian MUST always stay within earshot of the minor(s).

Paddles and life jackets for all participants are included in the rental.

We also offer Lakeside Delivery with each kayak rental at no extra cost to you. Lakeside delivery is located at the Angels Creek Boat Launch in the Glory Hole Recreation Area of New Melones Lake. 

You will be charged for any damage or loss of a Kayak for the entire cost of the kayak as stated in the waiver. This does not include regular wear and tear.

Small dogs under 30 pounds are welcome to join in on the kayak with you. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any damage, cleaning of animal messes, or any harm that may come to the dog as stated in the waiver. We encourage all dogs to wear a pet life jacket when on the water.

You can reschedule your kayak rental as long as it is more than 24 hours before your scheduled reservation. You cannot make any changes to your reservation within 24 hours of your booked day and time. Cancellations within 24 hours are not eligible for a refund.

We recommend wearing comfortable quick-dry fabrics and lots of layers! Protection and safety from the sun is extremely important so always wear high spf sunscreen, sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat to protect you. For footwear we recommend wearing neoprene paddling booties, or a hiking sandal with a back-strap. We do not recommend flip flops as they are easy to lose if you go over.

Life-vests are required to wear while using our kayaks. For children 13 years and under, it is required by law.

Fishing is a very popular activity at New Melones Lake. Please be respectful and keep your distance of lakeside fisherman to avoid getting tangled in any the lines.
